Hay, I was wondering if there is anybody that rides in the the upper part of Michigan. Not motocross but on the trails. You know trail riding. "hittin' some trees". I forgot what magazine it was, but they had a very good article about riding in the U.P. They said that they want to make a trail system that goes from one end of the state to the other. That would be a ton of fun. It's cool though because both of my grandparents live up there so i can just stay with them. They are the coolest. I con't wait to go riding up there.

The trails already exist and it can be some of the best riding in Michigan. You can check out the trails at the DNR site.

A few guys from DRN live up there and may be able to provide more specific advice on where to ride.

I think that the article you saw was in the latest AMA American Motorcyclist magazine. Here's a link to the online version: http://www.ama-cycle.org/magazine/2...ide/miguide.asp
The U.P. is like a different state or even different country compared to lower Michigan. I've only ridden up there once, but it was awesome!
There's a national enduro up in Marquette the weekend of July 19th.
Like F&S said, the Michigan DNR web site has lots of great links and maps of the area.
