I just recieved this email. Perhaps somone in the area will stumble across one of these bikes.
Northwest riders jot down these VIN #'s and keep a lookout.

Hello everyone,
Unfortunately I'm writing this letter due to the actions of one or more individuals that have strayed towards theft. Our local Honda Dealership, South Sound Honda of Olympia, WA, had been burglarized on January 31, 2003. Over $75,000.00 (18 dirtbikes) were stolen. I have listed the year, model, and VIN number below. The dealership has mentioned an award of up to $5,000.00 for the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved. Please contact Vicki Gray @ 360-357-9633 or fax 360-754-0920. Any information regarding this burglary case would be greatly appreciated. With the help of all you, your eyes and ears may bring justice to those involved.

What kind of skumbags. I think thieves are the lowest form of humans.

18 dirtbikes at once? From a dealer?

Sounds like a well-planned crime with ties to someone on the inside. Were these bikes still in crates? Where were the bikes? Inside the store (alarm on?), or in a semi-secure warehouse? Outside?

Hopefully the publicity of the award gets out and somebody turns these scumbags in!

Can you imagine how large of a vehicle thay needed to move all those bikes?

Posted by: ochster---------------------

maybe they were reposessed! A haul that large, may very well show up on a GIS survey photo.

Not too long ago, it looked like the same thing happened to Hinshaws in Auburn. It looked like someone had driven a car through the front windows to gain access to the bikes. I have no idea what they got away with.......

They will turn up, one by one, maybe down here. I'll print out the Vins and pass them around to our unit.

I put it out to all the Western States, hopefully that will help. Good luck
