I have a 1997 kdx 200. with a stock kx fron fork spring. I need to know if this spring would be close to the right spring rate that I need to not bottom my suspension out on a 25 foot jump that I want to attempt.

Depends on how much height. At 230 I can flat land a 20 foot jump at 5-6 feet air and only slightly bottom. My brother can pull it off pretty well without bottom at 160#s. It also depends on the shape of your forks and the condition of the springs.

Is the 'd' missing from the 'kx' as the 't' is missing from the 'fron'?
The stock 'H' kdx fork spring is good for a 130# rider. Any 25' jump that includes landing on the front is a disaster waiting to happen with ANY spring.
In a word, likely not.
OK...TWO words.

no actually it is a kx fork spring in a kdx fork.
