Travis Preston has announced that he'll ride a CRF450 in the 250 class at Atlanta.
Has he ever raced a big bore?

I always do the Atlanta race. I think this year will be number 7. I'd like to see Preston do well. His size kills him in the 125 class, but he's still relatively competitive with Bubba.

Hopefully we will see him up front on the CRF 
Has anybody noticed how aggressive he is when in a turn?? I was watching him at San Diego and i wish i could turn like him!!

Yeah rickyd, I think he turns really well, of course Preston said he "has to stop turning like a little girl and gas it" :scream: I'd like to see it when he goes for it! Jp have fun when ya go and post a report!

Just watched him in the A111 race-came from 11th on one lap to about 7th on the next and upto 2nd by the end-he looked very fast.

PVR is the only way to go, I just finished watching the SanDiego race. What was up in the 125's with that guy crossing the track? He almost got plowed.
I think Preston will make an impact on the 250 ranks, especially when he move up full time!

It'll be great to see Preston out there in the big bike class. I see Short did pretty well on a 250 tonight in Minneapolis and... Preston is a bit faster. If Preston can hang on to that thumper, he should be in the top 5 or 6 in Atlanta. That could throw a hitch in the Fantasy league results.

No doubt about it. I've got a modified Tivo/DirecTV PVR (put two, 120 gig hard drives in it, good for a few hundred hours of pure digital recording). It automatically records all races, AX, SX, Nats 
Now if I could just afford a DVD recorder... a complete season of SX/MX on one DVD from the Tivo... and since I'm dreaming; a 53" flat plasma HDTv
but alas, reality sets in.

With all the injuries in the 250 class I think he will be top ten for sure.

I agree, once he gets used to the big bike feel, he'll definately be a threat. Half the reason he can't stick with Bubba is because he's got to lug about 65 pounds more than Bubba around. His turning and overall speed have improved greatly since last year, IMO.
