Newbie question: what trials bike for a novice and tall rider?

I've been riding/racing desert for a few years and have always wanted to try trials bike riding. I have a little piece of land with plenty of room and obstacles to set up a course on, but don't know where to start.
These bikes look pretty small, and I understand they're that way for a reason, but can anyone recommend a make/model that would be appropriate for my size - 6'-5" 200lbs? It's probably a dumb question because I'm sure there are plenty of tall trials bike riders out there.
Thanks in advance.

You'll want to try each brand if possible and see which one suits you best, as they all feel slightly different. Probably the Montesa or the Scorpa seem to feel the best suited to taller riders (I know because they feel bigger than the Beta and Sherco and I'm at the other end of the scale at 5'8"). The older style Gas Gas TXT also feels as if it would also suit a taller person for the same reason, but I don't know about the newer 'Pro' models.
After riding 'normal' dirtbikes in the desert, I think that all the modern trials bikes will feel really weird, as will the concept of going very slowly. The best form of practise is to join a club and ride in trials, as you will learn what the sections should look like and how to get your own practise sections set up yourself.
An alternative is to go and get some professional training from the Trials Training Centre http://www.trialstrainingcenter.com in Tennessee or MotoVentures in California http://www.motoventures.com
There is a fairly active shop in Utah somewhere called 'NuTs', and I'll try and find their web page for you later today.
Here is a link to the Utah Trials Association

Thanks for the great info. I found the NuTs site on utahtrials.org. I had no idea there was a trials bike "culture" right in my own back yard.

I'm also 6'5" (210 lbs), I ride a 2002 Beta Rev-3 250. I started riding trials in June this year.
I did add taller handlebars (Renthal 6") and some 1" bar risers (Gen-Mar #103) to get the bars to a comfortable height. If your bars are too low your legs wear out fast from squatting too much.
I know my 250cc has more than enough power for my weight and I think is more forgiving of mistakes allowing me to improve at a faster rate.
