Ok. Its about time to start the season and I haven't got my computer yet. Sure would like some input from the board on what you feel the best computer is for ama rules enduros

I see more ICO Checkmates than anything else out there. However the Watchdog 2000 is getting popular.
I have an older Pacemaker and like it alot. I bought it used from a buddy. I used it for the first time last year at the Black Bear enduro. It sure made riding fun and easier.
Programming the thing is fairly simple and only takes about 15 minutes depending on the amount of resets and speed changes.
You can program it for AMA or Brand-X rules. You can choose from among six options for the display. I chose computed mileage on the left, time difference in the center and actual mileage on the right. So I can glance down at the center display to see how far off I am on time.
The only thing I don't like about it, you don't know where the possibles are in this model. I understand the newer version has a horn that sounds when your within .1 or .2 of a possible check.
But mine stopped working a couple of weekends ago so I'm in the market for a new one. I will buy another.
My two cents worth.

Its a really good product at about a third off of the price of a Checkmate. I still need to ride faster to take advantage of a computer. But the Checkmate is pretty cool too.

I have a CheckMate & have nothing but good things to say about it. It is on the pricey side though.
The sensor install is not a plug & play item, you will need to do some planning and customizing to make it work. I purchased a magnetic rotor bolt from ZipTy Racing that made my install sano
