Indianapolis supercross - Pit question

Hi,
I have been to outdoor pro events in the warm weather and walking around the pits was a blast. I am going to Indy this weekend for my first supercross and want to get a pit pass since this will be my youngest daughters first pro event. Where are the pits for the pro riders in Indy? I want to see if the pit pass is worth the money based on where the riders may be and be prepared as to what kind of clothes to bring. -Thanks!

Pits are closed in Indy. If you want to go to the pits wait for the St Louis round 3 weeks later.

There will still be autograph signing during the day in the dome, but you won't be able to cruise the pits to see the bikes and rigs like most races. There are usually signs posted in the main entrance of when each team will be doing their signing (usually sometime between 3:30-5:30). Make sure to get to the dome by 12:30 to watch the top riders practice between 12:30-3:30 if you want to make an all day event out of the SX. There usually isn't many people there at this time, and you can get up close to the action. After 3:30 - the top riders won't be back out until the 7:00 night show.

Thanks for the info! Nikki, yes to plan on making the day out it and now I will be ready ready with my daughter to have her get some autographs and see the riders up and close. It's going to be a long day but I have been dying sitting at work, waiting for this week to pass! Enjoy!
