Odo cable chafing fork leg

Has anyone found a way to keep the odo cable from chafing against the fork leg? I've tried shaping the cable a bit to bow away from the fork leg, but it just keeps coming back. Starting to wear a nice groove in the fork leg.

Put a few snap ties in that spot to act as a wear bar and then just change them out as it wears through. I tried some tape there but the snap ties looked better

Clear MYLAR tape by 3M works a treat for anti-chaffing problems if you can get your hands on some. It is awesome stuff.........should be commercially available there

Duck tape!! (or some other brand )

Color fits. It lasts. I've had the same tape on for well over six months, and it's still there! Power wash the bike after every ride.

Funny that the odo cable puts a dent in the aluminum fork, but duct tape holds up.

I have some clear plastic decal on the inner fork leg where it rubs. My bike came with that when I bought it used (OEM?) but I think some N-Style clear backing will work just as well. I bought a fairly large sheet of it for $10.
