Enduro Rules??

This might sound dumb, but I have been riding for a few years now and I am interested in my son and I riding some enduros.  However, I don't have any idea as to how an enduro works.  Is there a site that can explain the rules, or can someone explain them to me?  I am dumb... but I wanna get smart!

Go to the Southern Enduro Riders Assoc. (www.dirtrider.net/sera) and click on INFO on the left hand side, go to the bottom of the page and download the ruelbook.
