Help! Need A Better Clutch

Just did the first enduro on my cross trained 03 RM 250 and found out real fast that it needs help in the clutch department real bad.
Stock it has an on/off feel to it and I have trouble slipping it. For track use I would think its ok but for tight woods and loose rocky uphills it stinks.
Pull the lever all the way in and it will start in gear but not as good as I like, pull the lever in just a tad to motor up and around an obstacle and it dis-engages all the way.
Any recommendations & advise is welcome!

you can try a msr rapter perch and lever setup it has 3 different leverage ratios to try if you put it in the easy postion it will help the problum you are discribing and alos make your clutch easer to pull in.
