I know the topic of heavy vs light weight fork oil was discussed a while ago and I can't seem to find it.

Has anyone had sucess running heavier fork oil to firm up overly soft compression damping in your forks? Did is mess up your rebound damping?

Heavier oil will firm up damping but only to a small degree-it does however firm up rebound more, so you might want to try it, or decide to do it another way.
