i know that raising the fork oil will help bottoming but will it change the the fork in other areas or strictly just that last part of the travel? and what incriments should i start with? 5mm? 10mm? or more? thanks

Start with 5 mm increments. Oil ht. is mainly for bottoming but the higher you go it will start affecting the mid too.
