JR 80 vs. PW 80

Right now I've got a KTM Jr Adventure 50 that my three kids share. For those who don't know, its a mellow two stroke, about as fast as a stock xr50.
I want to get a slightly larger bike for the older two to ride.
My daughter is 7 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. My son is 9 and weighs about 60 lbs. (they're both small and light). They're not wanting to race, just have fun at the track and in our yard.
I'm looking at a PW 80 or JR 80. Any advice on either bike? Any recommendations for another bike? I prefer two strokes, but I can be persuaded.
Thanks in advance!

I just went through this same situation.
I ended up with the PW80 and could not be happier with it.
My son is 8 going on 9 about 62 lbs going from a 78 Z50 to
the PW80 it is the perfect transistion. Way more bike than
the Z50 but not too much, we can go on very cool trails now
that he would not be able to manage if a clutch was introduced.
Granted he will out grow it within a couple of years but they will
be more enjoyable for all involved. His bother should be ready
for it by then.

scairns, thanks for the info. sounds very similar to my situation. if you bought your PW used, what things should I look out for? (I'll actually post this as a new thread).

dropping one tooth on the countershaft sprocket really helps the pw80 on the trails.
