looking on buy a new bike pretty soon. i'm riding a 96 cr125 right now. i weight around 200 and i'm 6'0 tall. i'm thinking on either a cr250 or the yz250f. i ride mostly trails and go to the track to play around on no racing. i always loved my brothers 98 cr250, but after riding my dads xr400 i like the none revy fill of it. i have to rev my 125 to the moon to get it to climb big hills. also i heard that the green sticker law has been pushed up to the 02 models. so the bike i'll be getting will be a 01-02 model.

The 250f is desgined to be a fourstroke 125. The difference between a 125 and 250 2 smoke is like night and day, esp climbing hills. I can climb hills in 3rd or 4th gear no problem on my 00 cr250. I do not race, only play around like you, and I love the 2 smoke. I came off a 4 stroke and would never go back. If you want to stay in the same "class" of bike the 250f is the way to go. Also dont forget the 450f's is you want 250 like speed and performnace. I would ride that cr250 more and see if you can get a ride on a 250f. Both are great bikes, cant go wrong with either.
