'01 Wr 426 Throttle Bog

When I turn the throttle too quickly... From idle it stalls... From mid range it dies for a second then catches and goes. If I turn the throttle slightly slower, it responds fine. what causes this??? HELP!!!

Could be jetting but its probably the accelarator pump. You can disconect the linkage on the side of the carb under the plastic cover, or do a search on thumpertalk.com for the BK mod. I think there are other Acc pump mods too. I leave mine hooked up becuase Im a bit lean at lower elevations in the winter and I like being able to dump extra fuel in for the cold starts. I dont like rejetting the bike for winter when the hot humid summers when I do alomost all of my riding at higher elevations.
If you jet right you can run fine with it disconnected though.
