Yz 125

After riding my dad's, I think I've narrowed it down to a YZ 125(02 or 03) for my first full sized bike(coming off of a KX 100). I need to know what mods I should do to it to make it more woods friendly(like a 125 can be woods friendly, ha!) Also, I'm short, 5'3", so what should I do to it to lower it a little.

if your so short maybe you should stay with the kx100 after all that is a great bike

Hey man, my 01 YZ125 rocks in the woods. Got three more teeth on the rear sproket, and that was it. If your hard core about having some serious low end, you could get porting done, by Eric Gorr. But really, they have good power, and work well in the woods. The height is a concern though, it will be a problem no matter what you do in the really tight spots. You may be able move the forks up the clamps, and alter the rear suspension linkage, but you will probably end up with some funky handling.
