I have an '02 WR250. I have changed the spark plug once and had to remove the tank to get access. Is there an easier way to do this without having to remove the tank?
Has anyone had to change to plug on the trail?

I think there is a factory tool to fit down the hole but I dont think its possible without removing the tank. When I first got my WR I changed the plug and figured out how to keep all the tools on the bike, an extra plug fits under the tial light lense. The wobbler rachet extension fits in one swing arm bolt access hole, the socket with spare master links in it in the other hole and the Rachet I keep in my camel back.
That being said, I have never had to change the plug on the bike much less on the trail even after riding the bike into a lake and putting it under water.
Best advice, forget about changing plugs, your on a 4 stroke now. I DO carry pulgs and tools for 2 smoke bikes because when your in a group THEY slow YOU down when they foul a plug.
