kx 250 ?

i bought a 98 kx 250 lately and wondered if anyone could tell me about how many miles i a C class hare scambles rider could get on average on a stock tank full of gas?also i have a panoram bicycle computer on my kdx i was going to but on the kx.but iwanted to know where is the best place to but the magnet on the rotor.any advice would be helpful.thanks

I depends alot on the terrain that you are riding. i have seen a few of my buddies get close to 40 miles out of a 250 with a stock tank. but that is pushing it

A 2 hour HS on my 96 kx and I have about 2-3 cups of gas left LOL!! Like KTm racer says depend on the terrain.

I have a 99 KX250 with Eric Gorr mods, 2mm overbore, porting. I run race gas, so the jetting is fairly lean. I can get anywhere from 45-65 miles out of a tank, depending on conditions.

The 2 local harescrambles I've done so far on my KX have only used a little over half the tank. The courses here are usually 2nd gear averages, and about 25-30 miles.
