meeting this coming saturday night at 6PM ( May 10 ) , Cromwell Ky. fire dept.
Speakers coming that could help create riding areas in Ky. , they are looking for help in organizing and operating these areas. If you want to see riding areas in Ky. this is a meeting you should attend.

Do you have any information on who these folks are? WHo are they affiliated with?
I can't be there, as I will be out of town this weekend, but I am very interested on who these folks are and what there motivation and strategy is.

One speaker is from Sen. Mitch McConnell`s office and one is from the Blue Ribbon Coalition. The coal companies that mined in Ky. have very large tracks of land that they still own/control. Some of it is under state control now.
I think the ultimate goal is to create a Hatfield-McCoy style trail system in Ky. on some or all of these lands to bring dollars to the communties that have lost most of their revenue when the coal mining industry was gone.
