I'm planning on giving my 2000 YZ426 a cosmetic makeover. Does anyone have or know where to find a good picture of his YZM400. I'm doing white plastic with red graphics and want to powder coat the frame to match his factory ride. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've got a good right-side pic but it's at work. It is of the prototype YZM400 he rode, I believe. I'll post it first thing in the morning when I get to work.

that was one awsome bike! I loved the white/red combo. Good luck on your restoration. I believe the frame was powder coated silver. :thumb:

Thanks for the responses. It looks like the frame is silver in the Eric Gorr pic.

Here's what I have. I don't think it was what you were looking for, but it's still cool!

I have a picture of the Red and White works bike that Eric took at a European trade show. I can scan it for you if you'd like.

Thanks to all.. I'm going to go with a graphite gray look like in Danman's pic. I'll post a picture when it's finished.

FWIW over at Thumpertalk there are guys who have fit YZ125 subframes to the bike, so you can put the 125-style numberplates on to really look like Doug Henry's bike.
