They dont make one
Ive been looking, that was after our poor bike's time. Try looking at Answer. They have a spark arrestor that fits my 85, and is reasonably quiet (although I dont know if itll pass a sound test w/o modification)

I've got an Answer SA spark arrester from my '87 KDX200 that I took off when I sold the bike in '89. Its just been laying around, decent shape no dents or cracks. I dont know how it affects the sound, I don't remember the bike being loud or anything. But at least its repackable unlike the stock one.
Also I have a set of Progressive suspension fork springs off the same bike, I think I only had them in for a year or less.

They would be shipped to Arkansas right? I'll weigh them at work tomorrow and see how much it will cost to get them shipped. You can have them for whatever it costs for shipping. I'm certainly not going to need them anymore.
I have more KDX stuff laying around, I'll take a look and see what else I've got if your interested in more stuff.

zkdx for UPS ground its $10 for the springs and Spark arrestor. I also found a front brake master cylinder guard that protects the master cylinder from damage if you hit a tree. But if you have barkbusters you don't need it. I've got lots of little stuff like bearings, springs, etc but don't remember what they are for. Sorry no petcock although I do remember having to replace mine for some reason, it must have been broken and i didn't save it. I've got a few more boxes to look thru, I'll post what I've got and you can let me know if you want them. Or if anyone else needs this stuff for their old kdx let me know.

thanks moto...i definitely want the springs and s/a, and the cylinder guard. I'm probably interested in most all those springs and bearings. This bike i have runs good, etc, etc, but was abused for 15yrs before i got it, and have had to replace most everything! Maintenance should be a law for owning a moto!

zkdx, I couldn't fine any more stuff for the kdx. I have lots of parts laying around like I said, but I can't be sure they're for the '87 kdx since I had a multitude of Kawasakis in the '80's.
