I'm sure others can relate. This kind of weather is about to drive me NUTS!!! One day we'll get to ride again. :flame:

Hey Bryan

Live in the upper midwest in the Winter and THEN you can complain!!!!!!!!!!!! We're lucky if we get to ride 6 months out the year. You guys down south complain when you miss a weekend. Sorry, I have too many buddies in Florida calling me in the Winter asking what I'm doing while they barbeque in shorts and go to the beach.

It does suck to get your hopes up for a weekend ride only to have mawnature rain on the parade.

Uhh...I hate to tell you this now, but we were at TNT all weekend and there was just enough mist to keep the dust down on the track. I'll have pictures later.

Posted by: flynbryan---------------------

No need to rub it in Gomer..............Jeez.

Posted by: whyzee---------------------

Bryan, I've noticed that this is the third post in a week you haven’t mentioned your fiance. Is everything OK with you two?

Posted by: flynbryan---------------------

Funny Dave, Yes everything is fine. Check out the Brown mtn. one, I list my significant other in that one. :thumb:

Posted by: bscottr---------------------

ROTF  Sorry Bryan...young love is a wonderful thing. :thumb:

Dave,
Not to worry, all is good. Click here.

Sorry Scott, but when I read that post all I got was this:

It just really ticks me off that there are so many fiancée’s that trash stuff up for the bikers as well as the respectful fiancés. As I'm sure you could figure out, my fiance' usually feels uncomfortable riding w/ dirt bikers other than myself because of this disposition that most of us have towards my fiance'. I think this probably carries over from another thread, but I think that one solution to this problem(the greater destructive qualities of marriage that is) would be to either have fiance's stay off of the trails when conditions are wet and sloppy, or have e fiance's stay off of them all together when the conditions are questionable.....any other thoughts?

Just giv'n ya a hard time young man!

OMG....seriously funny smack.

Bryan

Posted by: flynbryan---------------------

In the words of Cartman........"Scurew you geyz, I'm goin home...." One of these days you guys will slip and I'll be there(best evil villian voice)........O yes......I'll be there........

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

It's been raining here for a solid week. The trend will continue this week, too. Mobile (3 hours south of me) got 7 inches of rain Sunday. We probably got 10 inches in the past week.

Screw the bike - gimme a BOAT. :silly:

Posted by: dead---------------------

It's crappy here too. Eventually it has to stop raining right?

I don't know.......Right now I'm not ruling out the option of building a large wooden vessel if I start hearing voices telling me to do so. I think I'll be alright w/the whole two of each species thing, but I'm not sure where to find TWO Gomers or two BScottr's for that reason....

High 60's to low 80's, small amounts of rain almost every day? Sounds like my kind of riding weather! You should come out here to Idaho. -10 to 20 degrees from about November through February. If were lucky we'll get about an inch of rain in the summer and it's any where from 90 to 105 from June through August. Did I mention the dust and the constant wind? Oh, it's real nice too. So, I thinks it's fair to say that we all get the shaft as far as weather goes, some just a little worse than others. Whats the worst weather anybody has rode in? Mine was about 25 out with 3 inches of snow on the dunes. In April no less! :whiner:

Posted by: MrLuckey---------------------

Maybe an appropriate time for everyone who voted that their home state was the best for riding to be thinking about those Californians who get to ride 365 per!!!!

Bastages

Posted by: shifting---------------------

Too bad they only have 5 acres of land to ride on...

Together!!!
