450 SX Feedback

Hey, I'm thinking about trying out the orange side for a while and I'd like to know how anyone with a 450SX likes the bike and if you have any compliments, gripes, etc, and how they think it stacks up against the other 4 stroke 450's. I'll use the bike mainly for mx so the SX is the main model I am looking at. To anyone that has one, I've heard and read about valve and tranny issues with this bike. Does anyone have one that has been reliable right off the floor? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks everyone.

It would help if you gave us some particulars about you. Height, weight, riding ability (what class do you race), etc.
Otherwise if some 300lb non-racer complains that the suspension is too soft you will not have a quality comparison or recomendation.

Well, Im about 6'3 190 lbs and am a novice MXer, quick in corners but not so quick on jumps 
but have been riding about 5 years.
