Black paint for stock exhaust header?

I have a stock black exhaust header on my ol' Husky that needs some painting in some spots and Im wondering if you guys have had some sucess with anything?

I haven't tried this,but a friend said I could use bar-B que black paint.It holds up on high temperature

I use the grey colored high temp stuff made by plasti-cote ...the paint resists the heat awesome but not abrasion by my boot, or the ground. I just gotta stop laying it over on that side :confused:
