I want to make my forks more plush for the woods. I have a friend who has a 01 KX250 with revavled forks that work very well in the woods. If I copy his set-up will it work right in my 99 forks?
This is his set-up,

How much would it cost me to buy these parts, and where can I get them?

I dont understand your shim thickness? These two forks are quite different but as your friends bike has a bladder fork and yours does not.

I just read that compression stack again and find it interesting (wierd) but if you like it thats all that counts.

He is very happy with that set-up.

He is putting the thickness in inches instead on mm.
I think both of those forks use the 28mm cartridge so your results might be close to what your friend has.

Looks to me like a few of those shims on the base may be there just to add height so the nut doesn`t run out of threads.

Bladders and rb are removed from his friends forks. And his knucklehead friend did take those shim thickness measurements in inches. Tim
