WTB Enclosed Trailer - All Offers Considered!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: TVRider---------------------

I'm looking for an enclosed trailer, don't know what size, kinda depends on whether I can talk my better half into letting me get that truck! If I can't get the truck, something small I can pull behind the Honda Mini-Van. :whiner: If I get the truck, look out!

How big of a truck???

Posted by: TVRider---------------------

I'm looking at a Ford Superduty. Can't decide between the V-10 and the Diesel. They are both probably more truck than I need but I'm a power freak. My fall back is an Avalanche. A buddy that trades every year has offered me a good deal on his '03 this fall.

I have a 26 ft tailgator, fully loaded with generator, micor, etc. Will haul 5 bikes easily plus sleep and camp. I pull it with a diesel for. 10mpg with the trailer.
10 grand

I'll keep you in mind, if you want to email me at tviers@charter.net I will email back when/if I am ready for something that big (need the truck first which will probably be Nov/Dec).

Got a trailer yet? I have an 8x12 enclosed trailer i will sell for cheap......

Posted by: TVRider---------------------

ZT,

I bought a 6x10 enclosed "EZ Rider" by Homesteader. I'm wanting something bigger and I picked up the Avalanche yesterday. I'm leaning toward a 7x12 v-nose tandem axle. Give me some details about yours, I might consider it as I have a friend interested in mine.

tviers@charter.net.

Thanks,

Topm

Zerotract if TV isn't interested forward me the details also. I am in the market for 6x10, 6x12 or similar as well.

OK,
It's a 12x8x5 enclosed trailer, I was told it was a 1984 sno tow, I have an actual title for it, it came from minesota, and then iowa, were I bought it. It is a drive on, drive off snowmobile trailer, this is why it's only 5 feet inside height. the ramp stores under neath the rear doors, in it's own little rack. It has tadem axles, and no wheel wells, the tires are completely under the trailer, so there is no loss of floor space due to wheel wells. It pulls straight, and the lights work, last I checked...

Here's my sob story, we gout the gf a quad, and me a KDX, and bought an enclosed trailer for us to take out and store all of our stuff. Well the gf doesn't ride the quad, and it's a bit much for me to have for just my kdx... So I am planning on selling it, and my tow vehicle and buying whatever I can find cheap that will haul my bike.

I'm asking $1400 and will offer to this group before I advertise it locally
