and I find myself sitting here counting the hours until the new American Chopper episode. Was I the only man in America that had a tear in his eye when big Paul gave that old school bike to Cody? I think not.

You have to laugh when Big Paul is sitting there thinking to himself, "Should I go be the coolest dad Cody never had, or should I go send a shoe up Paul Jr.'s backside?"

I have seen every episode now and I have counted about 3 minutes where big Paul actually does work. Paul Jr is is genius in designing and I am sure that it will only be a matter of time before he has his own show.

My only beef is this. You watch Jesse James and that cat will build a bike from the ground up. He will do everything but make the tires! Hell, up until the last year or so, he hammered the metal out by hand!

Then you have the Tuetles who basically farm out about 90% of the work. Aside from Paully designing some theme bikes, they are basically an assembly shop.

I still love the show though. I finally found a dude that is harder on his son than Red Foreman and my dad put together.

And I am waiting for the day that Paully will snap and put a ratchet upside the head of Paul Sr.

The real star of the show is the other brother. I can't remember his name but he's funny as hell. Did you see him standing there watching the Pauls screaming at each other, once it died down he busts out the "Let's get this f'in bike together!" As if the kid ever does anything but pick his nose.

Posted by: flynbryan---------------------

Yea I think the "other" brother just answers phones and orders things. I get a kick out of that show. I try to watch it, but it seems to never be on at the same time. Is there a standard time for the show Thunder? I watched a snipit of Jesse James, and I thought it was stupid, and insulting. They had some sort of horribly annoying announcer type "WWF" voiced guy doing commentary about them shooting a RX7 with a tommy gun? It was pretty stupid and ruined any possibility of me ever watching the show.

:thumb: I'm with ya on that one!

Getting rid of Paul Sr. would be a great improvment. His temper tantrums are so scripted sometimes. Makes me wanna hurl.

Jesse James is MUCH more talented. But Paully's bikes are sweet none the less. He's a artiste' for sure.

another vote for American Chopper. Paul Sr. evidently is the money behind the outfit, probably did a lot of the building in his past and now he's takin' 'er easy, and Paulie definitely has some talent (can't wait to see the finished Comanche bike). But, I gotta agree, Mikey is freakin' hilarious! "I love you daddy!" LMAO! And Paul Sr. hookin' him up with flowers for secretary's day "Gee Dad, you coulda got me something cool"

good stuff

Mondays 9 amd midnight central time Discovery channel

Pssst . . . . Cody is Big Pauls illegitimate son!

Last night I was really wishing the driver dude (old guy . . I can't recall his name) would go postal, grab Pauls chair and chase him across the floor of the 'dome. "Crank your own effin generator"

I work in a fab shop; everyone watches it and we all take on the personalities of the characters. "Looks good don't it; Pop?

Great fun. Good show. :thumb:

Posted by: Jamir---------------------

Man, if Cody is Paul's son, I am Patman's illegitimate daughter! All of his son's look just like him. Hell, Mikey's arm is bigger than Cody.

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

LOL! All!

Talk about a dysfunctional family, did anyone see them try to put up the backyard playset for their family member(Cousin or brother in-law or something), I thought the "Rachet Moment" was only seconds away.

343 is my favorite. The stress and the meaning make it my #1. :thumb:

The new shop an the youngest working with Pauly SR. #2, even though I think he (SR.) tries to hogg alot of the planning and fabrication ideas for himself. :silly:

Bottom Line: Monster Garage #1 OCC and Monster House in #2.

I don't think I've ever seen him without a cup in his hand :silly: Wonder what he's drinking

Posted by: rickyd---------------------

Cracked me up the other night when Paul Sr and Mikey were playing tennis while Pauly Jr was building I think they played too celebrate secretary week

Posted by: Gary B.---------------------

American Chopper is truly hilarious! Although, the non-stop bickering does tend to get old.

Posted by: 326mx---------------------

One thing I don't like about this show.

"I wasn't really sure if the bla bla bla bike would turn out good, but now that we're done, it really turned out great"

Has anyone seen the clip of Mikey riding a itty bitty little bike...

Where did Monster Garage go, haven't seen a new episode in ages.

I also want to see another segment on West Coast Choppers. Jesse James is a gearhead genius. Did anyone read the article on him in some magazine, about money? The guy was gonna be a football player then hurt his knee. He can still bench over 350!!! Or somewhere in that ballbark

You have to watch the whole show to apreciate it.  Monster garage is the show you're talking about.  Jesse gets an idea, the plan it and build it on a budget (not really anymore with the sponsor freebies).  On the 7th day, they test it (ususally race something designed to do the job).  On that episode, they wanted to build a sand drag car.  They built a swingarm that fit in the back half of the car that lowered a huge chain driven paddle tire.  It failed on the day.  Jesse was pissed and obliterated the car.

Actually was my favorite episode.  Neat idea, sensless destruction in the end.  That's good TV.

On the last show; when the arbor dropped out of the drill press; Mikey had me ROTFLMAO.

Posted by: XRpredator---------------------

"Uh, Paulie, I think I broke the drill"

Mikey makes the show!

Posted by: Offroadr---------------------

I love his lack of mechanical skills, the next couple ought to be great

Posted by: MONKEYMOUSE---------------------

I love mikey lol, he keeps me laughing for the whole show.

Posted by: XR3J---------------------

"I can not emphasise how much you can not do that." Vinnie

Posted by: MONKEYMOUSE---------------------

Vinnie is AMAZING at what he does. . .belive me thats not easy stuff. You try and put a wire through one hole in the frame and make it come out of anouther.

Posted by: Sawblade---------------------

All most everything Paul Sr. says is followed with "And what not". LOL.

Who's the coolest crew of OOC? Cody, we're all jealous it wasn't us as that 15 year old kid. :thumb:

I thought the show was awesome. They're beating and torching on a $80-100K bike inside a $40K trailer.

If Springers are worth $95k then mine is FOR SALE

Posted by: MONKEYMOUSE---------------------

Let me just say this . . .it is no stock springer. I belive the only part that is still on the bike that came on the bike when bought is the springer forks.

Posted by: Jon K.---------------------

It's Monday again!! Wonder what they are up to tonight?

Shoot!! My wife is going to drag me to Lowes tonight!! :whiner:

Posted by: Treejumper---------------------

At 10PM?? Wow, she must really like to shop.

Posted by: Jon K.---------------------

The wife has turned into "Supermom". She has undertaken to remodel an old barn we have on the place. Problem is, I work 11 hours a day, but still she expects me to help with the carpentry and crap. On top of that; I am no good at that kind of stuff.

We get the show @ 9:00 P.M. Central time.

Actually, I got to see the show last night, pretty good; but no real great moments. I wonder why they couldn't get the rear wheel to turn?

Posted by: 326mx---------------------

You know what pop every time i sit on the seat, I'll fart.... i thought that was great

Posted by: 490Dave---------------------

Best show so far IMO, OMG!! mikey failed his motorcycle driving test!!

and "we've got big problems here, we didn't install a feul petcock" ($5000 paint job)

and that chrome nazzi helmet mikey was wearing....too much.

Dave...

Posted by: XRpredator---------------------

Mikey needs his own talk show.

One word for you, Bro:
TiVo!

I have one and I watch the show when I want to. I have it set up on a season pass so I won't miss an episode.

I watched it at lunch yesterday. It was hard to eat. Mikey cracks me up!

Posted by: maxkiks77---------------------

is it just me or the way they were taliking on the last episode sounds like it is almost over, listen to Paul Sr. it was freaky, hope it aint ova.

Posted by: OldassKDX---------------------

I noticed that too.....I sure hope it isn't so. Right now American Chopper is my favorite show. Monster Garage seems pretty cheesy to me....."I have an idea, lets make a cop car that makes doughnuts!" I still watch it, but I'm generally disappointed mostly because they make pretty stupid stuff. Watching OCC is like watching art and mechanics come together. Has anyone else noticed that Paul Jr. and Mikey both have the same meter to their voice? "Y'know, at first I was worried........but after we started moving.......everything fell into place."
