Which Bike For My Fiance?

I have been riding for 15 years road/dirt I currently own a KDX220R. I do mostly open desert and mountain trail riding here in Arizona.
My fiance has recently expressed interest in learning to ride and I am clueless as to what bike to start her off on. I want something that she can learn on and be a good trail bike for her for a few years. She is 5'7" 125lbs. I was looking at the KLX125 but I am not sure, I have never looked at a bike for a smaller rider before.

The DRZ/KLX 125 would be too small for a rider 5'7" tall. My girlfriend is 5'4" and fits the DRZ125-L perfectly.
My opinion is to go with a CRF230. The seat hieght is 34" and it has electric start. The bike is a bit on the heavy side but not unmanagable. Being a Honda four stroke it should get many years of good use.
I have spent a lot of time setting up new riders with bikes lately. Here is a general guide for rider to seat hieght: 5'4" tall=32"seat hieght, 5'8" tall=34" seat hieght, 6' and taller=36" seat hieght.

My wife is 5'6" and fits the CRF150 very well. Have her sit on one and see how she can handle the weight (as in picking it up off the floor if they'll let you).
