does anyone know a good way to clean shoes? i have white nike shox and the mesh seems to have lost its brightness. could i send them through the washer machine?

I wash mine with a load of towels. I've also hit em' with the power washer. But, be careful with the pressure...... Good Luck

go to foot locker and get some cleaner..its in an aerosol can w/ a yellow 'cap' thats actually a scrubber...its only $5 and it works awesome

Actually I use a few things. First I use tooth paste (yes the white stuff you brush your teeth with) that gets them prety damn clean. Then I use simple green that stuff with take off what evers left. If you have it/heard of it use grease lightning in its full force. Belive me if you do this they will look brand new I promis (if you bleach your laces).

and the tooth paste will work for the mesh(sp?) that these shoes are made of? wont simple green tint the white shoe green?

do you like scrub the tooth paste into it?

I only used the simple green on the mesh not tooth paste. . .but I havent tried it on mesh. The simple green hasn't tinted my shoes green, dont se why it would.

Dow scrubbing bubbles! I know that sounds funny but it really really works well! And an old toothbrush to get the cracks and crevices.

Yeah a toothbrush or a grout(sp?) brush works great to scrub them.
