Folks, I am trying to make my bike a bit more plush for harescramble racing. I consider myself a B rider in the Vet class and would like to Plushen things up alot. I am getting ready to go try my forks after revalving them....
What's the difference between the WR and YZF suspension. Spring rates are identical for the 01-03's....
Thanks.

I think its just the valving but i have never stripped a WR suspension.

I measured the shims at the base valve on my 01 WR250, while changing my fork oil this week.
24mm x .10 X 10
22 x .10
20 x .10
18 x .10
16 x .10
14 x .10
11 x .25
When I get around to measuring the mid valve, I'll give you those specs.

Nemx305,
Thanks for the base valve specs from your WR. I will definitely try this the next time I am in the forks. (Next week probably). My understanding is the mid-valve has the greatest impact on the valving. Please keep me in mind when you record the mid-valve. I'd really like to try it.
