kdx220 or cr 125

ive been riding bikes and quads for a while now, im curently riding a 400ex, but im wanting to get another bike, i want a bike that i can race XC and some mx also, im looking into the kdx 220, or a cr 125, if the cr 125 isnt a good base for a woods bike, what would be? and what mods would i need to make the cr a woods bike? and get through some nasty technical stuff if at all possible? thanks!

I think that instead of modding the CR into a woods bike, it would be better the other way around, to mod the KDX the other way. The KDX is a great easy bike to mod and so I hear and see offline and off. I see tons of KDXs at the tracks and trails, and the more I see them, the more I am really thinking about picking one up along with my KX125

I know you didn't list it, but the KTM200E/XC would be a good bike for both woods and MX, just get stiffer springs.
