I have bought a 96 model kdx 250F Which is stripped to a field bike so basically is a crosser. i just read a dirt bike guide which says
"The KDX 250 owner should not expect high speed or competitive performance. It simply is not there."

i have not driven this bike yet as im going on holiday and dont wanna break anything, but is this statement true for these bikes?

what is the power delivery like? is it like a crosser? or is it more tamed?

also, does anyone know the rough topend speed?
