EVS pastrana knee guards?

Anybody have these? How's the fit, any prob's w/ closing boots, chafing?
I've broken my 4th set of the cheap knee pads, plus the top strap rubs the inside of my leg raw, time for something new!

They work well, and are very comfortable, except when it is hot outside. The pads are enclosed in neoprene, which doesnt breathe real well. Great in the winter, but a tad warm during the summer. Mine are over a year old and dont show andy excessive wear.

I have the EVS ones, but I didn't pay the extra cash for the goofy Pastrami yellow and red ones. Buy the black ones. Identical but about $20 cheaper if I recall correctly.
They fit great and don't slide down. Boots close fine. I've actually never gotten abnormally hot in them either. Great product. I don't even know they're there.

Good to hear. I haven't seen the other ones that are black, have to look for them. I don't think the heat would bother me too much as I sweat like crazy anyway and they'll be soaked within minutes.
They look comfortable with the wrap around style, can't take losing any more skin from straps rubbing. Thanks
