00 or 01 CR250, which one?

Hey all,
I am thinking about buying either one of these 2 bikes and I was
wondering if either of these 2 is that much better or different than the other. I am particularly concerned about the forks and the power delivery of the motor, do they both handle about the same with stock
suspension? I have heard that the 3rd gen frame handles very nice.
Any info on either of these 2 would be appreciated.

the '00 is a tractor, lot of bottom, no top end.
the '01 is the opposite. no bottom, tons of top(freaking missile)
put a vforce on the .01 and it will pull off the bottom, and rev to the top

I can't tell a major difference between the two. The 00 is supposedly easier to jet but every 01 I have been on has been pretty good.
The 02 was the beginning of the 3rd gen frames and it does handle better.
I'd buy the one you can find the best deal on.
