I have been trying to adjust my clutch after my last run...can't find neutral well when the bike is running. When I turn it off it shifts right in..if I push the bike a foot forward it will go right in. It is something I can live with, but was wondering if I am missing something here. It shifts well to all gears, but neutral. I had to have no play in the clutch to get it to shift with the bike running (very tight). When there is this little bit of play then it won't shift to neutral. Any thoughts??? Any ideas???

Check for warped clutch plates and/or notches in the clutch basket. Change your oil.

Sounds like its a clutch release problem instead of a transmission problem to me.

Just let your brother-in-law fix it. That guy's a genius!

Well according to the above post it could be the install of the clutch plates...hey wait a minute...my brother-in-law did that!
