Difference between enduro, offroad, and dual??

What exactly is the difference between them, they all seem to have lights, so they all street legal? Why different names?

Dual sport has all of the lights, horn, and turnsignals. THey also have a lot of EPA emmissions stuff, DOT tires and a steel tank. Enduros are competition motorcycles with a headlight and a taillight. They are easily converted to bare bones street legal.
