New Bike!

I have been saving money and working hard and I feel I am ready for a new bike. I have an XR200 with less than 200 miles on it, though they are going up more now that I have found more places to ride. I hope to sell it either privately, or trade it to the dealer.
Anyways, currently, I do mostly woods and trail riding in Western Maryland. The surface of the trails is made of clay, rocks, and mud. Throughout the trail there are small jumps that I love to hit.
I have been riding now for about 2.5 years, and I can handle my XR200, my dad's XR250, and a KDX220 that I have ridden a couple of times, pretty well. I have decided that I want to ride (not necessarily race) motocross. Thus, I am presented with a problem: I love riding trails, and what I have ridden of motocross, I also love.
My question is this: Which bike would offer me the ability to ride trails and motocross? I want to be able to actually jump, as my XR200 kind of "gets airborne, then falls".
Here are my vital stats:
Age: 16 (17 in Sept.)
Weight: 175 (and steady, though I am working out)
Height: 5 feet 9 inches (Still climbing)
Years Riding 2.5
I appreciate any feedback.

I'm your age, height but a bit lighter than you and I ride a yz250f. Right now I only ride trails and the 250f is awesome for them. I've been on a track once and it really liked it, hope to start riding it as soon as they get the watering system up. The 250f is a proven track bike so you're good to go there as well. I used to ride a kdx220 too and the 250f is a way better bike in everyway.

i'd say one of the 250f's or a kx125. the reason i say kx, is bc the rm, yz, and cr are basically screams. but this is from just reading, not actually testing. the kx125 is suppose to be more of a midrange-torque than the others. but not as much top-end, just like the minis, basically the same powercurve every kx has.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at the Honda CRF250f, due to come out in December sometime, however, I am reluctant to purchase it seeing that it is a first-year model, and may have some small kinks to be worked out. Now, I know Honda makes awesome bikes, and wouldn't purposely send a flawed bike onto the market, but it happens.
On another note, I do not know much about 2-stroke maintenance. I have heard that they require more maintenance than 4-strokes, which makes me reluctant to consider 2-strokes. Also, it seems that motocross is really heading in the 4-stroke direction.
Finally, I am slightly biased towards Hondas, as my family has owned many Honda motors in the years, and all have worked perfectly. Anything from Cars, to Dirtbikes, to Lawnmowers, you name it, we've probably had it.
