YZ 450 f ground clearance

I ride a YZ 450f and I am a small guy 5'9", the yamaha is a little to high off the ground for me, and I heard that lot of people that have that problem are changing something in the linkage and it drops the bike 1 to 2 inches lower. Even some pro riders have done it. I am wondering who can I buy this from? and if anybody has this part changed intheir bike and what happened to the overall handling of the thumper>
