XT 600 misfire

I own a XT600 Tenere. The bike start and idle without any problem.
Around 3000 rpm the bike misfire & doesnt pick up more revs.
I changed the carb, ignition coil, CDI and still does the same.
The pick up and ignition coil measures correctly according to manual.
The problem started after I replaced the piston.
I set the cam timing correctly when assembling the top end but now I have my doubts.
Will that be the symptom if the cam timing is out?

I don't think the American know what a Tenere is, we are hard done by and deprived of European spec bikes here in the good old USofEh.

What kind of piston did you install?(stock,oversize,high comp.)

How is the spark plug? First thing I would check is jetting, then timing.
