I'm selling my WR250F so I can get a real he-man bike.
It has 332 actual miles on it. (Why do they call 'em "actual" miles? Are there imaginary miles?) Only driven on Sundays. Comes with Renthal bars, Acerbis Rally Pro handguards, and a Works Connection glide plate. Otherwise, it's bone stock.
If the bike doesn't sell locally before September 29th, it will be available for inspection at DW.
$4300 firm.

I'll take a pickle loaf and cheese with my test ride if it makes it to Dirt Week!

Boot!

Still have it? Consider any trades?
Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------
I still have it, but I really need cash more than anything else. What do you have in mind?
Posted by: trout---------------------
I am toying with the idea of trading my cr250 for something more woods friendly. I dont know much about the wr250 but I have seen yz250f's that ran good. Does the wr run about the same?
Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------
A $100 exhaust cam will make the WR run exactly like the YZ. It's not too far off in stock form though.
Posted by: trout---------------------
What are you wanting to go to?
Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------
I like the bike in the woods, but I'm into MX these days. I'm ready to try a YZ450 or some other big thumper that will make me more competitive in the open classes.
I had a YZ426 trade deal going, but the guy flaked out and bought a Harley with his extra cash instead. He still wants my bike, but he has no money now.

I have no $ either. :scream:
Just a new cr250, I bought a leftover 02.

Eric,
I know Julius Pleaser (aka Larry the Lounge Lizard) and I will vouch for him when it comes to his bikes and his selling. If you had the money I would recommend the bike. It is a really good bike in the trails and with a few minor upgrades it can work extremely well on the track as well.
If I had the money I'd buy it just to have a trail bike in the stable.

Oh... JP... I know Eric too and he is a great guy. Hopefully you'll get to ride with him at the Suthin SF in April. It will either be at TNT or Durhamtown... depends on how much work is completed on the TNT trails (in progress).

Thanks Ivan.
If I had the cash I would consider it for sure. Im gonna stick with my cr unless a nice trade comes around.

$4100 - I'm ready to park a different bike in my garage. I also need to sell my 03 XR50.

How much for the fitty?
Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------
I'll take $1300 for it. I've spent at least $1900 on it (not counting labor). It has a Takegawa 82cc big bore with a big cam, big carb, and BMX bars with an 8 inch rise and PRC triple clamp. Bars have a CR Motion Pro throttle, Sunline brake lever and perch, and a kill switch off Thump's old YZ426. The kill switch alone is worth $1000. :thumb:
Also has a Paioli adjustable shock sprung for big people. Gold chain, too.

$12.99?

Stop bragging about your IQ, Stan. We all know you're special.

SOLD! to a really nice guy in Pensacola, FL. He's getting back into it after a long layoff, and made an excellent choice by purchasing my bike. I turned him onto the site, too, so maybe we'll see him around.
BTW, he gave me $4100.
He asked me what my bottom $ was, and told me he would take it after he saw a decent pic of it. I like dealing with people who know a deal when they see one.
