I'll take it if it fits a '98 KX125; the fender steps up in front of the lower clamp. In other words, the WER flat plate bolts to the bottom of the lower clamp, sandwiched between the former and the fender, then makes a 90 degree bend up then another 90 degree bend forward and flat again for the mounting of the damper body. Is that true?

Sorry, the website for WER lists the 1998 KX 125 as needing a different mounting bracket. By the time you at the $80 some odd for the kit you'ld be best off buying new for your green machine.
