When To Repack The Silencer?

I have an XR250 with the FMF Q pipe on it. I have had it on for about a year. I think I should repack... What does everybody think?

I don't think there's a real good way of knowing when to re-pack. Take it open and see what the packing looks like, next time you will have something to base the replacement interval on.
