I need new linkage and swingarm bearings. Instead of going to a kawasaki dealer or buying the kits from pivot works, I was thinking of taking my old bearings to motion industries to see if they could order me up the same size/kind of bearings. Have any of you done this, or is this a stupid idea that wouldnt work?

i just take my bearings out and my local bearing store will cross the numbers off them and get them in for half the price .

Just remember to pack sealed bearings. They usually come with a small dab of grease from the manufacturer.
