KDX in mud race?

just wondering...got a guy that puts on jeep mud races, getting ready to start 4-wheeler/moto mud races...it's just a straight shot through progressively deeper and nastier mud. anyone got any experience running the ol' kdx through something like this...i mean i hit mudholes all time, but i would like to put the quads to shame!!!!! 
...i'm thinking some sand tires!...and really fast!

My guess is that the KDX will sink (trying to find gription) and the wheelers with enough horsepower will go across the top.
Try a paddle tire on the back and a snowmobile ski on the front
