1999 KX 250 opinions?

My buddy is selling a 99 kx250 but i was origionally looking for a cr or a yz. I know its 90% rider and 10% bike but how does everyone like their 99 kx250s?

I've had mine for a year, bought it used and haven't had any mechanical problems thus far, I just do regular maintenance. I ride every weekend, mostly desert and some track. Engine-wise it rivals any YZ or CR i've ridden depending on how you ride it. I've heard about stock suspension problems but I have Pro Circuit aftermarket so I dont know about that. Its an awesome bike and if you can get a deal on it I'd say go for it. My only complaint is its handling, its not as nimble as other bikes, but by all means not bad. Good luck!
