Z Sprocket review?

I think they are called Z sprockets. Couple friends of mine have them, they are solid made of some composite metal, lighter than steel and heavier than aluminum. The teeth are offset slightly and seem thinner than a normal sprocket tooth. Supposedly helps reduce the wear and tear.

Has anyone tried these?

Are they any better than normal sprockets?
