Suspension is too stiff for me

I just bought a 2002 Gas Gas 125 MC with Pro Action suspension mods. From my first ride, it appears that this suspension would be excellent for serious motocross riding, but it's too stiff for enduro riding. I have weakened it (by adjustment) as much as possible and I believe it is time to consider getting it re-worked. Any suggestions or ideas as to time and expense involved (if I ship the forks and shock?)
