Could you please provide settings for a 170lb expert grade rider. I am having a hell of a time trying to set the bike up ....HELP

Hmmm I'm no suspension expert but I imagine things like the make, model, year of bike. Type of riding you are an expert at all may help in actually getting some assistance.

From what i know so far, the KX250f is a bit stiff for most riders-have you tried adjusting them softer on compression?

i played a bit with my basevalve the last two weeks. That is what feels best to me (170lbs, vet rider) :

11x0.25
14x0.15
16x0.15
18x0.15
20x0.15
22x0.15
24x0.11x6

4.2N/mm (0.41kg/mm) springs, 95 mm oil high, comp @ 16 clikcs, reb @10 clicks.

11x0.25
14x0.15
16x0.15
20x0.15
22x0.15
24x0.11
14x0.11
24x0.11x7

4.2N/mm (0.43kg/mm) springs, 90 mm oil high, comp @ 12 clicks, reb @12 clicks.

Standard setup for KXF (european version) is (claimed by Kawa) :

11x0.25
14x0.15
17x0.15
20x0.15
22x0.15
24x0.11
14x0.11
24x0.11x7

4.3N/mm (0.44kg/mm) springs, 90 mm oil high, comp @ 12 clicks, reb @12 clicks.

Standard setup for KXF (US version) is (claimed by Kawa) :

11x0.25
14x0.15
16x0.15
18x0.15
20x0.15
22x0.15
24x0.15
14x0.11
24x0.11x6

Claimed : 4.3N/mm (0.44kg/mm) springs, 90 mm oil high, comp @ 12 clicks, reb @12 clicks.

Interesting, the US version has less low speed and more high speed damping.I didnt realise they did different shim stacks for the US market, i knew they used different springs in the past(US versions of Cr125 get 2 rates stiffer fork springs)
