Neoprene slider protectors

I'm using neoprene protectors on my YZ 250 '04 and everytime the one on the left fork is damaged after one day riding. I don't know when it is happend, but probably after strong braking. What is 'twisting' on my bike? Front axle, forks or front wheel...?? Anyone affected with the same thing?

I know KTM fork seals always seem to leak on the brake side, so there must be some flexing involved.

Every leak I have had is on the left side.

Maybe it is damaged by brake disc? Your opinion?
