I was recently on ebay and someone is selling Hi-flo oil filters. They claim to be great quality etc.... and they are around $25 for 6 of them. Has anyone tried them? Anyone have an opinion? I've been paying $12 each for Yamaha OEM filters for my yz450f which is too much$$. Otherwise I was thinking of trying the K&N or Twin air oil filters for around $7???
Thanks for your help

You do know Scotts has reusable filters for all the new thumpers. They are a little pricey at first , About $70.00 each, but you can reuse them forever and they are a finer filter measured in microns. Not sure what a micron realy is but I know of many of the members in our riding club who use these filters and never have heard any negitives.
Just so you know.

I heard about that filter and was thinking about getting one, but I read an article in Dirt Rider or Dritbike Mag( last month I believe) that said not to get the reusable oil filters. I can't remember why, but they said not to use them????

I've never had any problem out of them. They seem to be a quality paper filter.
